MEATLINC SHEEP
For over 40 years the Meatlinc sheep company has sought to improve the growth rate and carcase conformation of commercial lambs through the adoption of progressive breeding strategies. This has generated a unique strain of terminal sire, the Meatlinc, which is ideally suited to commercial lamb production.
The Meatlinc is a market leader in genetic improvement. Fast growth, deep muscle, and low but adequate fat lead to high carcase quality. Genetic progress has been dramatic and continues.
Meatlinc rams are only bred by members of the Meatlinc sheep company who follow the same rigorous selection procedures to ensure that the breed continues to progress. There are a number of production farms from Cornwall to the north of Scotland – all breeders produce rams under commercial conditions (with no pampering for sale) and will be delighted to welcome you onto their farms to select rams.
